[The setting is a parklike area in Tokyo on a summer's day -- perhaps noteworthy, in that it is across from one of the TV stations' studios. A Sunday afternoon is not the busiest time, but there are a few people walking to and fro. There is a picnic set up in the park, where a dozen kids and teenagers sit and talk. Gathered with them, one for every human present, is a small Digimon, joining in the food and conversation.]

[Tailmon herself has walked a bit away, carrying a small bouquet of flowers, and is staring up at the studio across the street.]

I'm at work and need to de-stress to figure out why my code isn't working, and I can't write a SotU. So, question meme!

I play Tailmon and Zel. (Well, you're free to ask about Marla, though she's off with Foreman.)

It goes LIKE SO. You comment here and ASK A QUESTION. It can be anything - OOC, IC, relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. my character's opinion of your character, or maybe some specific behavior you've been wondering about, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, who I might consider raping you into apping, my favorite color or variety of ice cream, etc.

Tailmon's Recovery
Even though Storyteller did heal her, I'm still making Tailmon take longer to recover -- it's part of her trade of not having an incredibly painful revival when she dies. That being said, because of the healing, she's mostly able to bounce back much quicker than she would 'naturally', more like what would happen if she was with Hikari. If she's not fed, she'll take longer, but Lepus isn't generally hurting for food

So, for my own (and Lepus's) reference:

Day 106 (or early 107) -- Dies
Day 107 -- Egg hatches
Day 108 -- Evolution to Nyaromon (cat-head)
Day 109 -- Evolution to Plotmon (not-puppy)
Day 110 -- Evolution back to Tailmon (thank God)

Memory 11: Chilling with various of Vamdemon's minions

So, this is headcanon, which pretty much involves various of the Digimon working for Vamdemon in their off-hours, or at least waiting for orders. Tailmon mostly gains some knowledge of her life around the time she was Tailmon, but before she met Hikari.

What She Learned:
She already knew she worked for Vamdemon for a bit as Tailmon, and also got it was because 'minion', or even 'midboss' was better than 'chew-toy'. This memory basically filled in some of the cast of other minions:

-- A bunch of interchangeable minions that she mostly ignored or ordered around.
-- Wizarmon, who she liked (see previous memory) and who she would talk to.
-- Pumpmon and Gotsumon, who were annoying and she didn't have a high opinion of their usefulness, but she didn't have anything personal against them.
-- PicoDevimon. Who Tailmon hates. Because he's a jerk, obsequious to the extreme to Vamdemon (and anyone he can influence by it), and malicious to anyone he can kick around.

She also remembered a bit about being in charge of small groups.

This actually takes place right after Tailmon's memory of Hikari disappearing, with a bit of time. She and Patamon have followed Takeru to the coast and are looking for Hikari. They debate about whether she entered the Digital World -- Tailmon says she thought it looked like it, but Takeru says he saw it a bit, and it wasn't the Digital World. Anyway, he's feeling guilty and is all 'must protect Hikari', and Tailmon tells him off, saying that Hikari is a strong person because she helps her friends and they help her.

Tailmon is walking around a park, looking for some one called 'the eighth child'. She notices Hikari while walking, who identifies her as 'a friend of Agumon'. Tailmon tries to pretend to be a cat, but Hikari doesn't buy it and asks her her name. Still being all 'I am a stray cat. go away', Tailmon runs off then circles back to follow Hikari, thinking she is 'the eighth child'.

She follows Hikari home, who invites her in. Hikari is watching the news, and Tailmon watches her for a bit. Tailmon thinks Hikari is suspicious and that she should kill her, but stops at the last minute and runs off. Hikari asks her to come back some time.

The Memory:
She and Hikari (and Miyako and Ken and their partners) are standing on the shore of an ocean. it's overcast, but something seems to be sucking the light out of things. She can even feel it. Hikari is panicking, saying how she wants to go home.

Then things get worse -- a giant plant monster tears a hole in space. On the plus side, there's a way into somewhere that looks normal and not creepy and the world feels a little less like everything is being drained into a void of creepy. On the minus side, it's being blocked by angry plant monster. On the very bad side, Hikari's panic is making it impossible for her to focus enough to power up Tailmon. And Aquilamon and Stingmon are getting their butts kicked.

Tailmon and Miyako try to calm Hikari down, who is pretty much scared out of her wits that she's going to be consumed by darkness. Eventually Miyako delivers the Pull Yourself Together Man slap, and tells Hikari that there's no way in hell Hikari is going to give in. A light breaks through the clouds, Tailmon feels her strength return, and then she and Aquilamon fuse and kick the plant monster's butt.

Memory 5: Fish Market
This is one thing I just made up and never happened in canon. Setting it sometime after the series end. Hikari and Tailmon ride down on the subway to get fish at the wharves, and then they get home and the Yagami family has fish for dinner.

Memory 6: Tailmon Confused Minion of Evil
This is from Season 01, when Tailmon is still working with Vamdemon. She is on the roof of an apartment building in Tokyo, watching an eight-year-old Hikari through a spyglass. Hikari is doing ordinary things -- reading books, talking with her brother, playing with the family cat.

Tailmon's emotions during this memory are conflicted. She senses she was ordered to do something like this, and that Hikari is an enemy/threat. On the other hand, she's fond of her. She is also envious of the family life she sees -- even the family cat has a better life than her with attention and love and regular meals and not getting beaten.

It bleeds right into the 'Hikari is my partner and we must save the world' memory, so I cut it off here, when Wizardmon arrives.
